Iluminação artificial de escritórios : o posto de trabalho digital

Resumo: The target of this investigation is a multidisciplinary study of the artificial lighting used in digital workstations (computerized work) at offices, that use incandescent, fluorescent, and LED light sources dedicated to architectural lighting. This essay highlights different existing variables in the workspaces that the user operates with a computer screen. Architectural elements are considered office furniture pieces, ergonomics worries, the light quality, and the economic, social, and political constraints that helped to shape the office workstations throughout the XX and XXI centuries. And also the perspective of the lighting designer's job, and some strategies used to increase well-being, comfort, and work performance through lighting. This master dissertation results in the creation of fundamentals for a holistic approach formulation to a contemporary office lighting project. At the end of the thesis is also presented a list of standards and certifications used in the European and International context on the practice of contemporary office lighting
