Sombra: o digital e a aproximação do cinema português ao seu público

Throughout the years, portuguese cinematographic production has been unwillingly distancing itself from its public. "May a digital product bring portuguese cinema closer to its audience?". This is the main question behind this dissertation. It starts with a theoretical scope, in which concepts such as cultural identification, long tail and convergence culture are discussed. After a brief history of the portuguese cinema, it focus mostly on the Sombra project. This project, which aims to gather and make available with no costs, through an online platform, up to date content about portuguese cinema. It was built taking into consideration the Business Model Canvas, by Osterwalder and Pigneur (2010). Sombra project, compounded by a database and a portuguese cinema online magazine, aims mainly to contribute, in a digital way, to stimulate interest and consume of old and new national cinematographic productions.
