Passeio escolar ao campo: Frutos, de Eugénio de Andrade, em sala de aula

Resumo: Most inhabitants of cities or metropolitan areas know little precise traces, from the countryside, which they find in eventual magazine illustration or sporadic television program. The vast majority of children and teenagers living in urban areas have little or even no contact with Nature. Teachers have frequently the task, in part or even total replacement of parents, of filling in many of these existential gaps. And not only the subjects about the environment, other school subjects can contribute to this aim. In literature, narrative has privilege, due to its descriptive potential; but the lyrical text is not far behind, due to its polysemy, density and stratification. Taking the poem Frutos, by Eugénio de Andrade, from a pedagogical-didactic perspective, I will try to show how Poetry written for an adult public can open up to children and teenagers, unsuspected universes of beauty, promoting, modes of responsible citizenship in a world of global connection and commitment to sustainability.
