A travelling exhibition on the Sustainable Development Goals: an instrument for Education for Sustainability

Resumo: This paper focuses on the impact and educational possibilities of a traveling exhibition on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Exhibition was launched in 2019, as part of a research project focused on the training of Secondary Education teachers. It has a version in Spanish and another in Valencian, to contribute to its wider dissemination. The objective of this resource is twofold: on the one hand, to reorient the teaching project of the different subjects to incorporate the training of competences in Sustainability, facilitating the implementation of innovative proposals, and, on the other hand, to generate collaborative work dynamics for the design of activities that incorporate Sustainability in teaching, including examples of good practices. It has been installed more than 20 educational environments, mainly in Secondary Education and universities in Valencia, staying for around two or three weeks in each one. The results of the study have revealed the need to implement specific educational interventions that go beyond its contemplation, i.e., to develop specific activities around the Exhibition to facilitate the understanding of the 2030 Agenda and ensure the individual and collective involvement of the educational community with the SDGs.

La Exposición fue inaugurada en 2019, como parte de un proyecto de investigación centrado en la formación del profesorado de Educación Secundaria y cuenta con una versión en castellano y otra en valenciano, para contribuir a su mayor difusión El objetivo de este recurso es doble: por una parte, reorientar el proyecto docente de las diferentes asignaturas para incorporar la formación de competencias en Sostenibilidad, facilitando la implementación de propuestas innovadoras, y, por otro lado, generar dinámicas de trabajo colaborativo para el diseño de actividades que incorporen la Sostenibilidad en la docencia, incluyendo ejemplos de buenas prácticas.Ha sido expuesta en más de 20 entornos educativos, fundamentalmente de Educación Secundaria y del ámbito universitario valencianos, permaneciendo alrededor de dos o tres semanas en cada uno. Los resultados del estudio ponen de manifiesto la necesidad de implementar intervenciones didácticas concretas que vayan más allá de su contemplación, es decir, de desarrollar actividades específicas en torno a la Exposición para facilitar la comprensión de la Agenda 2030 y asegurar la implicación individual y colectiva de la comunidad educativa con los ODS.  Este artigo centra-se no impacto e nas possibilidades educacionais de uma exposição itinerante sobre os Objectivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS). A exposição foi inaugurada em 2019 como parte de um projecto de investigação centrado na formação de professores do ensino secundário e tem uma versão em espanhol e outra em valenciano, a fim de contribuir para a sua divulgação mais ampla. O objectivo deste recurso é duplo: por um lado, reorientar o projecto de ensino das diferentes disciplinas para incorporar a formação de competências em Sustentabilidade, facilitando a implementação de propostas inovadoras, e, por outro lado, gerar dinâmicas de trabalho colaborativo para a concepção de actividades que incorporem a Sustentabilidade no ensino, incluindo exemplos de boas práticas.Foi exibido em mais de 20 ambientes educativos, principalmente no Ensino Secundário e no ambiente universitário valenciano, permanecendo cerca de duas ou três semanas em cada um deles.
