Resumo: The Case Study addresses a dilemma of Me & You Innovate, a Portuguese SME that builds high-quality products for the Metalworking Industry. The company faced a huge challenge when the pandemic emerged, since many businesses had to cease their activity in order to survive to the upcoming crisis. One client represented a very high share of M&Y’s revenues, making its business extremely vulnerable. When this client cancelled a major order, Me & You had to look for alternatives solutions in order to face this unexpected situation. Along the Case Study diverse topics such as high customer-concentration, opportunities of covid-19 on business management and internationalization are open for debate. The Thesis includes a Literature Review analysing the topics relevant for the issues raised in the Case and a Teaching Note to help instructors to prepare the in-class discussion of the Case.
