The development of this report, has followed a curricular internship that took place at “Tribunal Judicial da Comarca de Lisboa – Juízo Central Criminal de Lisboa”, which lasted four and a half months. By substantially having a practical nature, the fundamental purpose of this report, is to deepen multiple questions regarding criminal proceedings, focusing mainly on the trial phase. After a global analysis of the files, attending multiple discussion and trial hearings, and by collecting and analyzing the law and its doctrine, the research got focused on home searches institute and on the consequences of evidence assessment, obtained through illegal searches (forbiddance and legal regime of the nullities established on the CPP) Therefore, this report is divided into three broad chapters. Firstly, I will functionally describe my internship place, followed by the exposal of the activities that were developed in it, and will come to an end with the theme exploration, previously highlighted.
