Resumo: This article presents a study on the characteristics of Portugueseyouth tourism demand, such as students in Higher Education. Thesize and scope of the territorial sample collected allows acharacterization of this segment of demand, by Portugueseregions/NUT II. At the same time, it is possible to distinguish themain High students tourism motivations and the existence offactors that induce a territorial differentiation. It is important tonote that in Portugal this segment of tourism demand is quiteunexplored and more research is needed.
