The first part of this dissertation will consist of a general framework of the theme, with special emphasis on the main agents in question and the relevance of the issues discussed in this thesis. The second part will consist of an analysis of the areas of Law of the Sea and Public International Law, namely a description and study of Maritime Spaces, their main characteristics, intrinsic international rights and duties and, finally, how they differ from each other. In this part, the methods for delimiting maritime borders will also be studied. Finally, the third and final part will consist of a critical analysis of the main positions defended by the doctrine regarding the measures to be implemented in the face of rising sea levels, with regard to their impact on the delimitation of maritime spaces, setting out the arguments for and against each position. We will put an end to our position, duly substantiated and justified on the basis of public international law and in particular the law of the sea.
