Resumo: The preservation of industrial and technological heritage appears as a subject in the field of cultural heritage and museology in the 1970s. However, its conservation practice is relatively recent compared to other expertise areas. Therefore, conservation assessment, intervention, and maintenance methodologies for this type of heritage are still open questions.
