Resumo: | The professional internship is a very important stage in the student's life to acquire all the necessary knowledge to pursue one's future career. This is when the student can practice all its knowledge gained during one's initial training. This document refers the student's path, experiences, struggles and overcoming strategies of an intern student (myself) during her internship in Physical Education. This took place at Escola Secundária das Laranjeiras teaching an eighth grader class. Teaching, community relations and personal development were three main areas developed while teaching. This was an enriching process since creativity and adjustments were a continuous overcoming. Physical activities were a must to improve students' fitness. Thus, a study was conducted applying FitEscola tests through a pandemic year and a year with no pandemic shutdown. Besides teaching, involving oneself with the community, class management and school sports were constant challenges to understand the role of teaching. Finally, personal development is an unfinished area, the search of better and deeper knowledge is a constant educational process. This paper finishes with a final thought of the year endless quest for learning and growth. |
