Resumo: Semear was founded in 2014by the BIPP project, as a response to the lack of initiatives regarding the inclusion of IDD people in the Portuguese society. The organization is divided in three different business units (Academia, Terra and Mercearia) to achieve its mission and objectives. Throughout the years, Semear is becoming more self-sustainable at all environmental, social and financial levels. Although, the organization is gradually improving and becoming more profitable, the diagnosis management tools that were used point out to some areas that still require some work to change.
