A importância da regulamentação da profissão de Educação Física para uma categoria profissional: O caso de Minas Gerais

Resumo: Over these years the movement of the associations sought to represent the profession of Physical Education. With the approval of the specific law, the Federal Council is created and the Regional Councils starting the category of physical education professional in Brazil and in Minas Gerais. This category still faces major obstacles despite the existence of its consolidated legislation in law, and its direction done by professionals elected to legislate and supervise the exercise of the profession. Given the above mentioned aspects, the general objective of this work is to demonstrate the evolution of the regulation of Physical Education in the State of Minas Gerais. As secondary objectives, we consider important, analyze the evolution of the process of regulation of the profession, characterize and describe the Associations of Professionals, identify the actions developed by the Confef / Cref system to guarantee the exercise of the graduated professional. The present investigation is characterized by a qualitative study, composed by several scientific paper, interviews, and legal documents. The results show that before the 9696/98 law, Physical Education was not a regulated profession in Brazil. Furthermore, we verify that associative movement was fundamental in valuing the profession, which had a greater appreciation, expansion and structuring of the field of professional performance. Nowadays, the graduated and the bachelor is under the ethical precepts and the field of action of the professional with continuous training.
