Resumo: The supervised teaching practice during this practicum was the act of shedding the student's coat and truly donning the teachers. Reflecting upon the lived experiences was indeed the beginning of understanding the student-teacher's professional identity (the author). This document describes the reflective journey of my practicum of a teacher candidate conducted in a school in a school in the Maia region, Portugal, as part of an internship nucleus consisting of two teacher candidates and two mentors (a cooperating teacher and a mentor teacher). The creation of this report was based on the reconstruction of the most significant moments experienced at the school and is organized into three main areas. Following a more personal exploration, describing the academic and athletic journey, as well as the motivations that led me to choose the path of becoming a Physical Education teacher, the first area emerges, encompassing the necessary tools I found and utilized to enhance the teaching-learning process. The second area delves into the dimension of the relationship with the school community and my participation, as a student-intern, in that same community, highlighting the challenges faced and the lessons learned when confronted with the reality beyond the gymnasium. The third area focuses on the definition and retrospection of the being a reflective teacher and the importance of the act reflection. I conclude with final considerations that encompass a set of pedagogical insights and empirical understandings, always with a holistic perspective. KEYWORDS:
