Resumo: The objec!ves of this study are: 1) to iden!fy diversity pa#erns in Mediterranean therophy!c grasslands in eastern areas of Con!nental Portugal; 2) to recognize the communi!es that configure the European priority habitat 6220* (Pseudo-steppe with grasses and annuals); 3) to establish the ecological gradients underlying the diversity pa#erns of these annual grasslands; 4) to assess how is diversity of these communi!es affected by land use factors
