Resumo: In 2020 the Health Science Journal (RCS) will complete its first decade. When looking back and analyzing all the legacy left, we can see its significant evolution in quality in this period. Initially, it is necessary to register our sincere thanks to the Founding Editor Prof. Dr. Rodolfo S. Cardoso, creator of this project and the RCS Editors-Emeritus, Prof. Dr. Kleber Lincoln Gomes, Prof. Dr. Maria Christina Anna Grieger (in memorian) and Prof. Dr. Marco Túlio Barcellos de Assis Figueiredo (in memorian). Without the incisive action of these people, this project would never have been possible.
