Resumo: | Considering the published works, according to Rorty's proposal, as a “research genre”, the present work intends to show the enormous transforming potential that certain literary works exerted in the evolution of thought and the organizing models of social life, anticipating a paradigm shift in the relationship between justice and law in three crucial historical scenarios: the classic, which proposes to link justice to the law (The Oresteia); The modern one, which bases justice on universal ethical principles and the guarantee of rights (The Merchant of Venice); And postmodern nihilistic thinking of the Nietzschean scope, which tends to dissolve both concepts (Crime and Punishment). |
