Reflections on Antonio Gramsci’s epistemological fundamentals

Resumo: This text aims to present some reflections, from a bibliographical research, about the epistemological fundaments of the Gramscian theory, its approaches to the Marxism and its commitment with other lifestyle.  Initially some important milestones in Antonio Gramsci’s life history and his intellectual influences are discussed.  Then, based on Karl Marx and Antonio Gramsci’s work, some assumptions from the Historical-Dialectical Materialism and the social and political emergency for other hegemony are shown. The discussions have some guiding concepts, such as: “Education”, “State”, “hegemony” and “philosophy of praxis”. The theoretical reference which sustains the arguments is the Historical-Dialectical Materialism. Keywords: Gramsci. Historical-Dialectical Materialism. Hegemony. Philosophy of praxis.

Philosophy of praxis.Este texto tiene como objetivo, a partir de investigación bibliográfica, presentar algunas reflexiones sobre los fundamentos epistemológicos de la teoría Gramsciana, sus aproximaciones al marxismo y su compromiso con otra forma de vida. Inicialmente, se discurre sobre algunos hitos importantes en la historia de vida de Antonio Gramsci y sus influencias intelectuales. En seguida, a partir de la orientación de la obra de Karl Marx y Antonio Gramsci, son exhibidos algunos supuestos del Materialismo Histórico-Dialéctico y la emergencia social y política por otra hegemonía. Las discusiones tienen algunos conceptos orientadores, tales como: “Educación”, “Estado”, “hegemonía” y “filosofía de la praxis”. El marco teórico que da sustento a los argumentos es el Materialismo Histórico-Dialéctico. Palabras clave: Gramsci. Materialismo Histórico-Dialéctico. Hegemonía. Filosofía de la praxis.Este texto objetiva, a partir de pesquisa bibliográfica, apresentar algumas reflexões sobre os fundamentos epistemológicos da teoria gramsciana, suas aproximações com o marxismo e seu compromisso com outro modo de vida. Inicialmente, discorre-se sobre alguns marcos importantes na história de vida de Antonio Gramsci e suas influências intelectuais. Em seguida, a partir da orientação da obra de Karl Marx e de Antonio Gramsci, são exibidos alguns pressupostos do Materialismo Histórico-Dialético e a emergência social e política por outra hegemonia. As discussões têm alguns conceitos orientadores, tais como: “Educação”, “Estado”, “hegemonia” e “filosofia da práxis”.
