Application of standardized language in the development of pre-professional practice

Resumo: | Introduction: The standardized nursing language is a tool that integrates theoretical frameworks to identify problems, interventions, and results. Objective: To determine the application of the standardized language in the development of the pre-professional practice of the Nursing Rotating Interns of the Technical University of Ambato. Methodology: Quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design with a descriptive scope. For which, a sample of 110 participants was addressed using a questionnaire designed and validated with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.94, guaranteeing the reliability of the instrument. Results: The applicability of the standardized language on a daily basis comprises 29.8%, 91.8% of the participants report that this methodology improves their cognitive abilities; while 90.9% expressed the usefulness of applying the case study format; 73% recognized that this tool improves the quality of patient care and generates satisfaction when using it; to 40.4%, it provided them with positive experiences. Conclusion: The application of standardized language during pre-professional training encourages the continuous improvement of the skills of future professionals to develop their activities in the hospital and community area based on scientific evidence. |

Objetivo: Determinar la aplicación del lenguaje estandarizado en el desarrollo de la practica pre-profesional de los Internos Rotativos de Enfermería de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Metodología: Enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño no experimental, transversal con un alcance descriptivo. Para lo cual, se abordó una muestra de 110 participantes empleándose un cuestionario diseñado y validado con un Alfa de Cronbach del 0.94, garantizando la fiabilidad del instrumento. Resultados: La aplicabilidad del lenguaje estandarizado de forma diaria comprende un 29,8%, el 91,8% de los participantes refiere que esta metodología mejora sus habilidades cognitivas; mientras que un 90,9%, expresó la utilidad de aplicar el formato de estudio de caso; un 73%, reconoció que esta herramienta mejora la calidad de atención de los pacientes y genera satisfacción al emplearla; al 40,4%, les proporcionó experiencias positivas. Conclusión: La aplicación del lenguaje estandarizado durante la formación pre-profesional, fomenta la mejora continua de las competencias de los futuros profesionales para desarrollar sus actividades en el área hospitalaria y comunitaria basadas en evidencia científica.Introdução: A linguagem padronizada de enfermagem é uma ferramenta que integra referenciais teóricos para identificar problemas, intervenções e resultados. Objetivo: Determinar a aplicação da linguagem padronizada no desenvolvimento da prática pré-profissional dos Estagiários Rotativos de Enfermagem da Universidade Técnica de Ambato. Metodologia: Abordagem quantitativa com desenho não experimental, transversal e de âmbito descritivo. Para isso, uma amostra de 110 participantes foi abordada por meio de um questionário elaborado e validado com Alfa de Cronbach de 0,94, garantindo a confiabilidade do instrumento. Resultados: A aplicabilidade da linguagem padronizada no dia a dia é de 29,8%, 91,8% dos participantes relatam que essa metodologia melhora suas habilidades cognitivas; enquanto 90,9% expressaram a utilidade da aplicação do formato de estudo de caso; 73% reconheceram que essa ferramenta melhora a qualidade do atendimento ao paciente e gera satisfação ao utilizá-la; para 40,4%, proporcionou-lhes experiências positivas.
