Educational dropout generated as a result of the covid-19 pandemic in educational centers in Ecuador

Resumo: The Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic represents a threat to the advancement of education around the world, as it has two significant impacts: The almost universal closure of schools for all, and the economic recession generated by the measures of control of the pandemic. This research aims to analyze the educational desertion generated as a result of the covid-19 pandemic in educational centers in Ecuador. The methodology used in this research was a systematic bibliographical, descriptive documentary design, carried out through a search in databases such as Pubmed, Scielo, Elsevier, Medigrath, among others, in indexed journals published in the last five years, selected low inclusion and exclusion criteria. With the compilation of investigations, it was obtained as a result that the main causes of school dropout are given by access to the internet, economic level, and the lack of technological devices, it is observed that the prevalence of educational desertion by Covid-19 and calculating its Average is of 28.94%. Where it was identified that Pakistan is the country with the highest prevalence with 56.50%, in the case of Ecuador, different prevalences were observed, obtaining an average of 59.67%, in studies carried out. In conclusion, it is detailed that virtuality brought with it the necessary self-taught capacity of young people and the support of families to better favor the learning of students accompanied by the family nucleus that allows them to achieve academic excellence.

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la deserción educativa generada a raíz de la pandemia del covid-19 en los centros educativo del Ecuador. La metodología utilizada en esta investigación fue bibliográfica sistemática, de diseño documental de tipo descriptivo, llevado a cabo a través de búsqueda en bases de datos como Pubmed, Scielo, Elsevier, Medigrath entre otras, En revistas indexadas publicados en los últimos cinco años, seleccionados bajos criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Con la recopilación de investigaciones se obtuvo como resultado que las principales causas de deserción escolares viene dadas por el acceso a internet, nivel económico y las carencias de dispositivos tecnológicos, se observa que la prevalencia de Deserción educativa por Covid-19 y calculando su Promedio es del 28,94%. Donde se identificó que Pakistán es el país con más alta prevalencia con 56,50% el caso de Ecuador se observaron distintas prevalencias obteniendo un promedio de 59,67%, en estudios realizados. Como conclusión se detalla que la virtualidad trajo consigo la necesaria capacidad autodidacta de los jóvenes y el apoyo de las familias para favorecer de mejor manera el aprendizaje de los estudiantes acompañado por el núcleo familiar que permita alcanzar la excelencia académica.A pandemia de Covid-19 (coronavírus) representa uma ameaça ao avanço da educação em todo o mundo, pois traz dois impactos significativos: o fechamento quase universal de escolas para todos, e a recessão econômica gerada pelas medidas de controle da pandemia. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar a deserção educacional gerada como resultado da pandemia de covid-19 em centros educacionais no Equador. A metodologia utilizada nesta pesquisa foi um desenho bibliográfico sistemático, descritivo documental, realizado por meio de busca em bases de dados como Pubmed, Scielo, Elsevier, Medigrath, entre outras, em periódicos indexados publicados nos últimos cinco anos, selecionados de baixa inclusão e exclusão. critério. Com a compilação das investigações, obteve-se como resultado que as principais causas da evasão escolar se dão pelo acesso à internet, nível econômico e a falta de aparatos tecnológicos, observa-se que a prevalência de abandono escolar por Covid-19 e calculando sua Média é de 28,94%. Onde foi identificado que o Paquistão é o país com maior prevalência com 56,50%, no caso do Equador, foram observadas diferentes prevalências, obtendo uma média de 59,67%, nos estudos realizados.
