Resumo: Introduction: Penetrating Cranioencephalic Trauma (TCE) is considered a physical injury that deteriorates the functional state of the cranial content, causing death or serious injuries such as physical or cognitive disability. Timely treatment will make it possible to provide priority care to patients, thus avoiding secondary brain injuries. Objective: To implement a nursing care plan oriented to a patient with Penetrating Cranioencephalic Injury. Methodology: The methodology used for the analysis of the study includes a descriptive, comparative model, since information was collected by reviewing the patient's medical history. Results: Based on the analysis, according to several authors, it is agreed that penetrating TBI in older adults is a condition considered one of the main caus-es of disability and death, produced by laceration and contusion of a torn blood vessel that causes hemorrhage. subdural, epidural, or parenchymal. Conclusion: The implementation of a nursing care plan directed towards this pathology allows to systematize the interventions, focusing them based on the needs of the patient, taking into account that the signs and symptoms vary according to the degree of the Glasgow Coma Scale (ECG).
