Resumo: The purpose of this article is to carry out a bibliographic review of the environmental feasibility study for the implementation of solar panels for the municipality of the Montecristi canton, for which it was based on a qualitative documentary research. The technique of documentary analysis of bibliographic sources with emphasis on content analysis and critical analysis. To achieve the purpose, 10 research papers/articles were consulted. It is concluded that the use of solar energy generation systems must be a key piece in the construction of a new environmental culture; that is, the use of solar energy should promote and motivate humanity to adopt better practices regarding energy consumption. The study and evaluation of environmental projects is one of the sustainable and viable solutions to the country's energy problem. the evaluation and implementation of environmental investment projects, not only from the economic-financial point of view, but also to measure their environmental impact, in order to achieve a truly sustainable development through the Leopold Matrix.

La técnica de análisis documental de fuentes bibliográficas con énfasis en el análisis de contenido y análisis crítico. Para alcanzar el propósito se consultaron 10 trabajos de investigación/artículos. Se concluye que el uso de los sistemas de generación de energía solar debe ser pieza clave en la construcción de una nueva cultura ambiental; es decir, el uso de la energía solar debe promover y motivar a la humanidad a adoptar mejores prácticas respecto al consumo energético. El estudio y evaluación de los proyectos ambientales constituye una de las soluciones sostenibles y viables frente al problema energético del país. la evaluación e implementación de los proyectos de inversión ambiental, no solo desde el punto de vista económico-financiero, sino también medir su impacto ambiental, a fin de lograr un desarrollo verdaderamente sostenible a través de la Matriz de Leopoldo.O objetivo deste artigo é realizar uma revisão bibliográfica do estudo de viabilidade ambiental para a implementação de painéis solares para o município do cantão de Montecristi, para o qual se baseou em uma pesquisa documental qualitativa. A técnica de análise documental de fontes bibliográficas com ênfase na análise de conteúdo e análise crítica. Para atingir o objetivo, foram consultados 10 trabalhos/artigos de pesquisa. Conclui-se que o uso de sistemas de geração de energia solar deve ser peça chave na construção de uma nova cultura ambiental; ou seja, o uso da energia solar deve promover e motivar a humanidade a adotar melhores práticas em relação ao consumo de energia.
