Resumo: The year 2022 was a year of growth, but also of challenges for our Journal and publishing house. The increase in the demand for review and publication of scientific articles was expressive and without the permanent support of our associate editors, technical team and ad-hoc reviewers, it would have been practically impossible to meet the number of documents received. In this sense, we identified the concentration and recurrence of the same origin of authors in certain countries, languages and institutions, which led us to rethink various aspects of the editorial policy to ensure not only the sustainability of the Sapienza - SIJIS project, diversity and pluralism, but also the maintenance and increase of its scientific-editorial quality for the following year in question.

El incremento en la demanda de revisión y publicación de artículos científicos fue expresivo y sin el apoyo permanente de nuestros editores asociados, equipo técnico y revisores ad-hoc, hubiese sido prácticamente imposible atender a la cantidad de documentos recibidos.
