The research was developed with the objective of identifying the degree of women's satisfaction with childbirth, by means of a quantitative research, with a descriptive level, field design - transversal, whose study population were the women of the Valle Hermoso community, A non-probabilistic sampling was carried out, based on inclusion and exclusion criteria from which a sample of 165 participants was selected, to whom a survey based on the Mackey Childbirth Satisfaction Rating Scale was applied, with a reliability of 0.85 and a Cronbach's Alfha coefficient of 0.94. The data were collected in person and then analysed in SPSS version 26. The main results indicate that 77% of the women were satisfied with the care received during delivery and 64.8% were very satisfied with the birth experience. In conclusion, the health professionals who have attended the mothers have shown capacity, knowledge and professional competence during the birth, as has the midwife who has acted as a constant support and has been responsible for ensuring that the physical and emotional needs of the woman are met, as well as the comfort of the newborn after birth has been satisfactory, so that the birth experience has been a pleasant event for the mothers of the Valle Hermoso community.
