Resumo: An application of environmental valuation may include the value of environmental goods in their tangible and intangible facets. The contingent valuation model allows us to identify the value of use, non-use and existence. These values can identify the level of well-being of society. The application of the contingent valuation (DAP) applied to the Andreas Park Spa sought to evaluate the social, economic and environmental performance, as well as determined the environmental valuation of the users' evaluation and thus subsidized the updating of the rate charged in order to obtain resources to improve the actions of environmental sustainability in the park. 72% of users understand the current value of the entry, R$ 4.00 per person, must be met by users' demands, by 77.34%. The contingent valuation from the survey is R$ 345,000.00 per year.

O modelo de valoração contingente permite identificar o valor de uso, não uso e de existência. Esses valores podem mensurar o nível de bem-estar da sociedade. Este artigo desenvolveu um estudo de caso a partir de uma pesquisa quantitativa através de questionário semiestruturado. A aplicação da valoração contingente (DAP) aplicado ao parque Balneário Bica das Andreas buscou avaliar o perfil social, econômico e sensibilidade ambiental dos visitantes, determinando o valor ambiental a partir da opinião dos usuários e assim, subsidiar uma atualização da taxa de entrada cobrada atualmente, com o intuito de garantir recursos para a melhoria das ações de sustentabilidade ambiental no Parque. O resultado mostrou que 72% dos usuários compreenderam que o atual valor da entrada, R$ 4,00 a inteira, deve ser mantido, por já atender as demandas dos usuários, ressaltando que 77,34% afirmaram elevado nível de satisfação.
