Mathematics and the use of digital technologies in times of pandemic: implications for teaching, learning and evaluation processes in higher education

Summary: | Such research aims to investigate the conception of students of the mathematics degree course, of a public university in the state of Pará, in relation to the development of teaching practices by teachers in times of Covid-19 pandemic, if they can explore / use digital technologies correctly or not, and as this implies in the learning and evaluation processes perceived by students. From the analysis of the data obtained from the participants through electronic forms and with the aid of the Pearson correlation coefficient and Cronbach's Alpha calculation, it was possible to verify that there is no constant use of differentiated technological resources, in addition to those already employed for the creation of virtual rooms in remote classes, for example, which occurs mainly due to the role played by the teacher and the little openness to work with methodologies that use such tools. This reproduction of unattractive teaching structures in the virtual environment, ends up having direct implications for students' learning, as well as in the evaluation model practiced by teachers throughout the course subjects offered during this period, generating little flexibility in relationships / interactions and disinterest for the contents taught. |

A partir del análisis de los datos obtenidos de los participantes a través de formularios electrónicos y con la ayuda del coeficiente de correlación de Pearson y el cálculo del Alfa de Cronbach, se pudo comprobar que no existe un uso constante de recursos tecnológicos diferenciados, además de los ya empleados para la creación de aulas virtuales en clases remotas, por ejemplo, que se da principalmente por el rol que juega el docente y la poca apertura para trabajar con metodologías que utilizan tales herramientas. Esta reproducción de estructuras docentes poco atractivas en el entorno virtual, acaba teniendo implicaciones directas para el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, así como en el modelo de evaluación practicado por los docentes a lo largo de las asignaturas impartidas durante este período, generando poca flexibilidad en las relaciones / interacciones y desinterés por parte de los profesores. los contenidos enseñados.Tal pesquisa tem objetivo investigar a concepção de alunos do curso de licenciatura em matemática, de uma universidade pública no estado do Pará, em relação ao desenvolvimento das práticas de ensino por parte dos professores em tempos de pandemia da Covid-19, se conseguem explorar/utilizar corretamente ou não as tecnologias digitais, e como isso implica nos processos de aprendizagem e avaliação percebida pelos alunos. A partir da análise dos dados obtidos junto aos participantes por meio de formulários eletrônicos e com o auxílio do coeficiente de correlação Pearson e cálculo do Alfa de Cronbach, foi possível verificar que não há utilização constante de recursos tecnológicos diferenciados, além dos já empregados para a criação das salas virtuais nas aulas remotas, por exemplo, o que ocorre principalmente em função do papel desempenhado pelo professor e a pouca abertura para o trabalho com metodologias que empreguem tais ferramentas.
