Perezhivanie in math classes: gender, race and science

Resumo: The present narrative can be much more of a narrative essay. Essay because it seeks from the essayistic style to elaborate certain theoretical formulations on the production of narratives, and narrative, since it takes a story as its means of transmission. Narrating is much more than describing, it is positioning the particularity in its dialectical relationship with the universality of the scenario (LUKÁCS, 1965), in which the characters that emerge from history, whether imaginary or real, must incorporate certain fundamental human relations and characteristics. It is in this sense that this narrative essay seeks to constitute its real characters from an experience involving race, gender and mathematical science. There will be three scenarios diachronicly separated and synchronously interconnected: cinema at school, research and the Mathematics Fair. Vygotsky's historical-cultural theory developed in the latter around the category of Perezhivanie as an instrument of analysis of the narrative, which can be translated as experience. In short, we defend narrative research as an investigation on the frontiers between art and science, therefore, our method that we seek to expose must be understood as an aesthetic-scientific method of narrative research.

Ensayo porque busca desde el estilo ensayístico elaborar ciertas formulaciones teóricas sobre la producción de narrativas, y narrativas, ya que toma una historia como medio de transmisión. Narrar es mucho más que describir, es posicionar la particularidad en su relación dialéctica con la universalidad del escenario (LUKÁCS, 1965), en el que los personajes que emergen de la historia ya sean imaginarios o reales, deben incorporar ciertas relaciones y características humanas fundamentales. Es en este sentido que este ensayo narrativo busca constituir sus personajes reales a partir de una experiencia relacionada con la raza, el género y la ciencia matemática. Habrá tres escenarios separados diacrónicamente e interconectados sincrónicamente: cine en la escuela, investigación y la Feria de Matemáticas. La teoría histórico-cultural de Vygotsky se desarrolló en este último en torno a la categoría de Perezhivanie como instrumento de análisis de la narrativa, que se puede traducir como experiencia. En resumen, defendemos la investigación narrativa como una investigación sobre las fronteras entre el arte y la ciencia, por lo tanto, nuestro método que buscamos exponer debe entenderse como un método estético-científico de investigación narrativa.A presente narrativa pode ser muito mais um ensaio narrativo. Ensaio, porque busca a partir do estilo ensaístico elaborar certas formulações teóricas sobre a produção de narrativas, e narrativo, pois toma como seu meio de transmissão uma “estória”. Narrar é muito mais do que descrever, é posicionar a particularidade na sua relação dialética com a universalidade do cenário (LUKÁCS, 1965) em que os personagens que emergem da história, sejam imaginários ou reais, devem incorporar certas relações e características humanas fundamentais. É nesse sentido que este ensaio narrativo busca constituir seus personagens reais de uma experiência envolvendo raça, gênero e ciência-matemática.  Serão três cenários diacronicamente separados e sincronicamente interligados: o cinema na escola, a investigação e a Feira de Matemática. Como instrumento de análise do narrar está a teoria histórico-cultural de Vygotsky desenvolvida nos seus últimos trabalhos em torno da categoria de Perezhivanie, que pode ser traduzido como vivência.
