Scientific perspective that bases the teaching materials from PIBID´s Biology subprojects of the Federal University of Pernambuco

Resumo: This study sought to understand the scientific perspective that bases the teaching materials from biology subprojects of the Institutional Scholarship Program of Introduction to Teaching, of the Federal University of Pernambuco, used in teaching practices from 2009 to 2016. To this end, we undertook a documentary research, based on the selection and analysis of proposals for teaching materials activities. We verified that the main point of view, which bases the materials, designates for science a rigid, empirical-inductive and decontextualized nature. For this reason, we understand that these elements diverge from the dimensions of science that are necessary for the scientific formation of teachers and students, being far from representing an innovative transformation in the practice of Biology teaching.

Por lo tanto, realizamos una investigación documental , a partir de la selección y análisis de propuestas de actividades de material didáctico. Encontramos que las visiones predominantes que sustentan las propuestas de los materiales asignan a la ciencia el carácter rígido, empírico-inductivo y descontextualizado. Por ello, entendemos que estos elementos difieren de las dimensiones que constituyen la ciencia y que son necesarias para la formación científica de docentes y estudiantes, estando lejos de representar una transformación innovadora en la práctica docente en Biología.O estudo buscou compreender visões de ciência que fundamentam materiais didáticos dos subprojetos de Biologia do Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência, da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, utilizados em práticas de ensino no período de 2009 a 2016. Para tanto, empreendemos uma pesquisa documental, a partir da seleção e análise de propostas de atividades de materiais didáticos. Constatamos que as visões prevalentes que fundamentam as propostas dos materiais designam à ciência o caráter rígido, empírico-indutivo e descontextualizado.
