Heavy-ion collisions at LHC in a multiphase transport model

Resumo: Using a multiphase transport (AMPT) model that includes scatterings in both initial partonic and final hadronic matters as well as the transition between these two phases of matter, we make predictions on the rapidity distributions and transverse momentum spectra of various hadrons, their elliptic flows, and two-pion correlation functions in ultra-relativistic heavy ion collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
