Identification of Lactobacillus UFV H2b20 (probiotic strain) using DNA-DNA hybridization

Resumo: | Sequence analyses of the 16S rDNA gene and DNA-DNA hybridization tests were performed for identification of the species of the probiotic Lactobacillus UFV H2b20 strain. Using these two tests, we concluded that this strain, originally considered Lact. acidophilus, should be classified as Lact. delbrueckii. |
