Separation and preconcentration of dioxin in blood samples by nano-baskets of calixarene and inclusion emulsion membranes

Resumo: Inclusion-separation and preconcentration of dioxin from blood samples were reported by the inclusion-facilitated emulsion liquid membrane process. The novelty of this study is the application of nano-baskets of calixarene as well as emulsion liquid membranes in the selective and efficient preconcentration of dioxin. For this aim, inclusion-extraction parameters of four p-tert-calix[4]arene derivatives sulfonamide moieties previously synthesized were investigated. Analysis by a gas chromatograph revealed that under the optimized operating condition, the preconcentration of dioxin was improved and the method achieved lower limit of detections.
