Resumo: The objective was to conduct a systematic review of the association between physical activity with some measure related to sexuality, like sexual satisfaction in postmenopausal women. The survey was conducted in Lilacs scientific base combined with the following descriptors, physical activity, quality of life, sexuality, women and menopause, from 1999 to 2014. The results found 11 articles that evaluated this association, according to the study objectives. All written by multiple authors; published in journals in the field of medicine, no preference in specific journals climacteric area. The design of the research was predominantly (73%) in analytical observational studies outlined in transversal and 27% used clinical intervention studies. In analyzing the results of these studies was consensus among the publications that the presence of physical activity to some extent positively influence some factor related to sexuality in postmenopausal women, such as sexual function, sexual frequency, body image and sexual satisfaction; Apart from their absence still be associated with sexual dysfunction. To aspects of dysfunction was evaluated that its existence may be associated with other factors such as illness, contexts, lack of body perception and habits / daily behavior. Weighs up the scope of the search and the exploratory and descriptive evaluation of the articles found and suggest up studies that contribute to alternatives beyond the drug proposed in menopause management, redefining the speech duties of this regular season in women’s lives.
