Resumo: This paper deals with the first report of the nematodes Dispharynx nasuta (Rudolphi, 1819) Stiles & Hassall, 1920, Gongylonema ingluvicola Ransom, 1904, Oxyspirura mansoni (Cobbold, 1879) Ransom, 1904, Subulura brumpti (Lopez-Neyra, 1922) Cram, 1923 and Tetrameres fissipina (Diesing, 1860) Travassos, 1914, parasitizing the ring-necked pheasant, Phasianus colchicus Linnaeus, 1758 in Brazil. Morphological data on the parasites as well as on the prevalence, mean intensity, mean abundance and range of intensity of the nematodes in the infected birds are provided.
