Resumo: This research aimed to investigate the experience of women's participation. black women in the Bloco Afro Ilú Obá De Min, a project developed by the São Paulo association, without for profit, Ilú Obá De Min - Education, Culture and Black Art, in order to understand if the involvement of these women with the Block influenced the production of their health mental. Thus, this work is based on the theoretical-methodological principles of Brazilian Psychosocial Care, and contemporary works that address the relationship between the social markers of gender and ethnic-racial in psychological distress, starting from the intersectional feminist epistemology. In this theoretical perspective, we sought to articulate the mental health, gender and race concepts. Using the cartography method, it was followed the procedural nature of the participation of these women in the association Ilú Obá De Min. cartographies of these participation processes were produced, with an emphasis on the interface between health. mental and culture. And, the concept of black culture, present in the Afro Block Ilú Obá De Min, as an assumption that this sociocultural category can positively interfere in the mental health of black women. From the development of research and data produced, it was possible to identify clues that indicate processes of production and care of its mental health, by the participants, who are built through participation in Ilú Obá De Min.

From the development of research and data produced, it was possible to identify clues that indicate processes of production and care of its mental health, by the participants, who are built through participation in Ilú Obá De Min.Essa pesquisa teve como objetivo investigar a experiência da participação de mulheres negras no Bloco Afro Ilú Obá De Min, projeto desenvolvido pela associação paulistana, sem fins lucrativos, Ilú Obá De Min - Educação, Cultura e Arte Negra, a fim de compreender se o envolvimento destas mulheres com o Bloco influenciou no âmbito da produção de sua saúde mental. Assim, este trabalho segue fundamentado nos princípios teórico-metodológico da Atenção Psicossocial brasileira, e dos trabalhos contemporâneos que abordam a relação entre os marcadores sociais de gênero e étnico-raciais no sofrimento psíquico, partindo da epistemologia feminista interseccional. Nesta perspectiva teórica, buscou-se articular os conceitos de saúde mental, gênero e raça. Utilizando o método da cartografia acompanhou-se a processualidade da participação destas mulheres na associação Ilú Obá De Min. Foram produzidas cartografias destes processos de participação, com ênfase na interface entre saúde mental e cultura. E, o conceito de cultura negra, presente no Bloco Afro Ilú Obá De Min, como pressuposto de que esta categoria sociocultural pode interferir de maneira positiva na saúde mental de mulheres negras.
