Resumo: In the last decades, the pressures and threats to the conservation of the Brazilian biodiversity have been increasing day by day. One of the strategies for the protection of natural heritage and biodiversity is the creation and implementation of Protected Areas (PA), which in Brazil are known as Conservation Units, and one of the categories of protected areas is the PNHR (Private Natural Heritage Reserve). The National System of Conservation Units recommends that all PAs should have a Management Plan, which should include a " zoning of the area " and the rules that should govern it. This study was carried out at the PNHR Trápaga, a private reserve of 70 ha, located in the municipality of São Miguel Arcanjo. The objective of this study was to elaborate the zoning of the PA using two different techniques, that is, the mapping of the soil use with remote sensing techniques, and the use of a Biotic Integrity Index (BII) applied to the vegetation of the same. In order to analyze the biotic integrity, the BII was used, which is composed of 11 ecological indicators (litter, clearings, exotic species, lianas, epiphytes, and late indicator species among others). For analysis of the BII, 20 plots of 10x10m randomly arranged in the area. The land use and cover mapping was based on an orbital image (resolution of 5 meters, from June 30, 2014), which was first classified by unsupervised method (K-means algorithm). Considering the result of the first, a supervised classification (Maximum Likelihood algorithm) was performed. The following management areas were used for the elaboration of the zoning thematic map: wild zone-WZ, protection zone-PZ, recovery zone-RZ and visitation zone-VZ. The results showed that 11 plots obtained BII-"Regular", seven-"Good", and only two-"Low". The results obtained BII showed moderate positive correlation (r = 0.03 p = 0.466) with NDVI values obtained in each plot. For the supervised analysis, seven polygons of plots with BII-"Good" and seven of plots with IIB-"Regular" were used. The Confusion Matrix of the supervised classification map elucidated an overall hit of 93.43%. The Confusion Matrix among the classification maps elucidated an overall hit of 90%. From the reliability of the BII correlation with the NDVI, and of the overall accuracy of the classification maps, the zones within the obtained classes were distributed. From this analysis the zoning of the area was elaborated, thus, class 1, represented by BII-“Good" was mapped as WZ (intangible zone); class 2, represented by IIB-"Regular" was mapped as PZ (primitive); and class 3, represented by IIB-"Low", was mapped as RZ (recovery zone). For the definition of VZ (visiting zone) was used earlier work already performed in the study area. Finally, the % of area occupied by each zone was 9% VZ, 17% RZ, 27% WZ and 47% PZ. The zoning map are proposed to be incorporated into the AP Management Plan, aimed at the seal of the government of this management tool.

Uma das estratégias para proteção do patrimônio natural e da biodiversidade é a criação e implantação de áreas protegidas, que no Brasil são conhecidas como Unidades de Conservação (UCs), e uma das categorias de UCs é a RPPN (Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural). O SNUC (Sistema Nacional de Unidades de Conservação) recomenda que todas UCs devam ter um Plano de Manejo, onde deve constar um “zoneamento da área” e as normas que deverão reger a mesma. Este estudo foi realizado na RPPN Trápaga, uma reserva particular de 70 ha, localizada no município de São Miguel Arcanjo. O objetivo deste estudo foi elaborar o zoneamento da UC, utilizando duas técnicas distintas, ou seja, o mapeamento do uso do solo com técnicas de sensoriamento remoto, e a utilização de um índice de integridade biótica aplicado à vegetação da mesma. Para análise da integridade biótica utilizou-se o IIB (Índice de Integridade Biótica) que é composto por 11 indicadores ecológicos (serapilheira, clareiras, espécies exóticas, lianas, epífetas, e espécies tardias indicadoras dentre outros). Para análise do IIB foram utilizadas 20 parcelas de 10x10m aleatoriamente dispostas na área. O mapeamento da cobertura e uso do solo teve por base uma imagem orbital (resolução de 5 metros, de 30 de junho de 2014), que foi classificada primeiramente por método não-supervisionado (algoritmo K-médias). Considerando o resultado da primeira, executou-se uma classificação supervisionada (algoritmo de Máxima Verossimilhança). Foram utilizadas as seguintes zonas de manejo para a elaboração do mapa temático de zoneamento: zona silvestre-ZS, zona de proteção-ZP, zona de recuperação-ZR e zona de visitação-ZV. Os resultados mostraram que 11 parcelas obtiveram IIB-“Regular”, sete-“Bom”, e apenas duas-“Baixo”. Os resultados obtidos no IIB apresentaram correlação positiva moderada (p = 0,03 r = 0,466) com os valores de NDVI obtidos em cada parcela. Para a análise supervisionada utilizou-se sete polígonos de parcelas com o IIB-“Bom” e sete de parcelas com o IIB-“Regular”. A Matriz de Confusão do mapa de classificação supervisionada elucidou um acerto global de 93,43%. A Matriz de Confusão entre os mapas de classificação elucidou um acerto global de 90%. A partir da fidedignidade da correlação do IIB com o NDVI, e do acerto global dos mapas de classificação, foram distribuídas as zonas dentro das classes obtidas. A partir desta análise foi elaborado o zoneamento da área, sendo assim, a classe 1, representada pelo IIB-“Bom” foi mapeada como ZS (zona intangível); a classe 2, representada pelo IIB-“Regular” foi mapeada como ZP (primitiva); e a classe 3, representada pelo IIB-“Baixo”, foi mapeada como ZR (zona de recuperação). Para a definição da ZV (zona de visitação) da área, foi utilizado trabalho já executado anteriormente na área de estudo. Por fim, a % de área ocupada por cada zona foi 9% ZV, 17% ZR, 27% ZS e 47% ZP. Propõe-se que o mapa de zoneamento seja incorporado ao Plano de Manejo da UC, visando a chancela do Poder Público desta ferramenta de gestão.Não recebi financiamentoporUniversidade Federal de São CarlosCâmpus SorocabaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Sustentabilidade na Gestão Ambiental - PPGSGA-SoUFSCarGestãoplanejamento territorialconservaçãoUnidades de ConservaçãoGestão ambientalManagementTerritorial planningConservationProtect AreasEnvironmental managementCIENCIAS AGRARIAS::RECURSOS FLORESTAIS E ENGENHARIA FLORESTAL::CONSERVACAO DA NATUREZA::CONSERVACAO DE AREAS SILVESTRESZoneamento da Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural TrápagaZoning of the Private Reserve of Natural Heritage of Trápagainfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisOnline600600d40916a7-0729-45e2-8764-a3667918b6a9info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório Institucional da UFSCARinstname:Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCAR)instacron:UFSCARORIGINALZoneamento RPPN Trápaga - Dissertação Pietro Scarascia.pdfZoneamento RPPN Trápaga - Dissertação Pietro Scarascia.pdfDissertação final.application/pdf3300340https://repositorio.ufscar.br/bitstream/ufscar/10783/1/Zoneamento%20RPPN%20Tr%c3%a1paga%20-%20Disserta%c3%a7%c3%a3o%20Pietro%20Scarascia.pdf29721fc218563a7d4ce391874f555305MD51Carta Comprovante - versão final.jpgCarta Comprovante - versão final.jpgCarta Comprovante Orientador - versão finalimage/jpeg426320https://repositorio.ufscar.br/bitstream/ufscar/10783/2/Carta%20Comprovante%20-%20vers%c3%a3o%20final.jpgf35d0f82e60506e139fdb6209f8e0272MD52LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
