Modo de produzir, destino dos produtos e diversidade de espécies: uma análise comparativa de fatores associados à agrobiodiversidade em assentamentos rurais da reforma agrária na região central do estado de São Paulo

Ten thousand years ago, agriculture, sowing and animal breeding turned to be part of human story and, since that, species domestication follows different peoples practice in several parts of the world, building a complex and heterogeneous web of relations between the human being and the agriculture. It is understood that the agrobiodiversity, as a ecosystem and organisms group that composes the biodiversity and owns a narrow relation with the human being, being those organisms relocated, sown, bred, tamed or semi-domesticated. This research seemed to comprehend and propose a possible interpretation about the agrobiodiversity aspect in three rural settlements of the agriculture reform movement on the central region of São Paulo state: Monte Alegre (Araraquara), Santa Helena (São Carlos) e Sepé Tiaraju (Serra Azul). It was considered in this analysis the production mode in those settlements, where they destine their products of species cultivated. Scientific researches were found by bibliographic survey, as data registered by fieldwork through photographic records, fieldwork diary and semi-structured interviews during university extension activities and scientific initiation researches. It was observed that the three settlement own interesting experiences about organic agriculture and agroecology, as lots of settlement apply in their lands ecological management practices, caring about the soil, the plants and with the others agroecosystem elements, besides agroforestry systems. It has been noted an importante variety of sown species, evincing the settlements of agriculture reform movement significance to the agrobiodiversity fomentation. Therefore, it is concluded that the agrarian reform rural settlements are an important space in the promotion of agrobiodiversity.
