Resumo: | Characterization studies on how are being conducted the educational service and the service of social assistance provided to people with disabilities, as well as the way it has been taking place the relationship between these services are still rare. Studies with such outbreaks could contribute to a better understanding of how the sessions are taking place and if they are in line with public policies, achieving the expected goals with people with disabilities and provide insight for the improvement of care. The research aimed to characterize and analyze the educational service and social assistance offered to a group of students with disabilities, from the parents’ perspective and of the teachers of room of resources. Participants were seven mothers of disabled students attending schools in the state system of public education and two resource room teachers, one active in teaching disabled hearing and visually impaired and other disabled in intellectual education. Among the seven students attending the resource room, four were enrolled in primary school and three in high school, aged between 10 and 17 years. Among the students two have hearing loss, two have learning difficulties, one has visual impairment, one has intellectual disabilities and one has multiple disabilities. To collect data we used two interview scripts containing questions regarding the characteristics and assessments of mothers and resource room teachers on the educational service and social assistance provided to students. The results for the educational services indicate that mothers perceive the Specialized Educational Services (SES) held in the resource room as the main teaching condition for the children learning guarantee, moreover, expressed satisfaction with care and with close contact with the SES of teachers. The teachers' reports indicate that the SES seek help students over come difficulties and to support academic learning; indicate the need more time and frequency to meet each student; report that communication with teachers of regular classes is infrequent and the contact from the school personnel with the social worker does not occur, and the teacher considers that the family should be responsible for seeking the service of social assistance. The results show that 57% of students receive social assistance benefits as the Continuous Cash Benefit (CCB) and benefits of Bolsa Família Program (BFP). Discusses the improvements required for the actions of those involved in care remain in line with the actions and objectives set forth in the special education policy and social assistance policy. |

Estudos com tais focos poderiam contribuir para uma melhor compreensão de como os atendimentos estão ocorrendo e se estão em consonância com as políticas públicas, com alcance dos objetivos esperados junto às pessoas com deficiência e contribuir com subsídios para o aprimoramento dos atendimentos. A pesquisa teve como objetivo caracterizar e analisar o atendimento educacional e de assistência social oferecido a um grupo de alunos com deficiência a partir da perspectiva dos pais e dos professores de sala de recursos. Foram participantes sete mães de alunos com deficiência que frequentavam escolas da rede estadual de ensino público e duas professoras de sala de recursos, sendo uma atuante no ensino de deficientes auditivos e deficientes visuais e a outra no ensino de deficientes intelectuais. Dentre os sete alunos que frequentavam a sala de recursos quatro estavam matriculados no ensino fundamental e três no ensino médio, com idades entre 10 e 17 anos. No grupo de sete alunos dois tem deficiência auditiva, dois tem dificuldade de aprendizagem, um tem deficiência visual, um tem deficiência intelectual e um tem deficiência múltipla. Para a coleta de dados foram utilizados dois roteiros de entrevistas contendo questões relativas às características e apreciações das mães e professoras da sala de recursos quanto ao atendimento educacional e de assistência social fornecidos aos alunos. Os resultados relativos ao atendimento educacional indicam que as mães percebem o Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE) realizado na sala de recursos como principal condição de ensino para garantia do aprendizado dos filhos, além disso, manifestam satisfação com o atendimento e com o contato próximo com as professoras do AEE. Os relatos das professoras indicam que no AEE procuram auxiliar os alunos a superarem dificuldades e dar suporte as aprendizagens acadêmicas; indicam ser necessário mais tempo e frequencia para o atendimento de cada aluno; relatam que a comunicação com as professoras das classes comuns é infrequente e que o contato dos profissionais da escola com o assistente social não ocorre, sendo que a professora considera que a família deveria ser a responsável pela busca do atendimento da assistência social. Os resultados mostram que 57% dos alunos recebem benefícios socioassistenciais como o Benefício de Prestação Continuada (BPC) e benefícios do Programa Bolsa Família (PBF).
