Resumo: Kheuól do Uaçá is an endangered indigenous language spoken and shared by two peoples of very different origins, the Karipuna and Galibi-Marworno, who inhabit the Uaçá Indigenous Land, located in the municipality of Oiapoque, State of Amapá, on the Franco Brazilian border. Kheuól do Uaçá derives from Guianese, a language that emerged in Cayenne, present-day French Guiana, in the colonial context of the 17th and 18th centuries, based on French (Carvalho, 2020; Santos, M.; Silva, G. 2020; Lüpke et al, 2020, Silva, G. 2021). It established itself as the lingua franca of a region with a disputed border for almost two hundred years between Portugal (later Brazil) and France, from 1713 to 1900. In the 20th century, with the consolidation of the northern Brazilian border, it established itself as the language of identity of these two peoples (Silva, G. 2021). The objective of this work is to present the partial results of the construction process of the Online Dictionary of the Kheuól do Uaçá (DOKH), one of the subprojects of the Museu do Índio Language Documentation Project (FUNAI/UNESCO). The production of DOKH, in the Karipuna and Galibi-Marworno varieties, is part of the context of linguistic revitalization operated in recent years by indigenous teachers from both peoples, which includes the training of indigenous researchers at undergraduate and graduate levels (master's degree) in methods and techniques of Linguistic documentation aimed at the production of didactic and educational materials in Kheuól (Gippert et al., 2006; Moore et al., 2016: Santos, M.; Silva, G. 2020; Forte, 2021; Silva, J., 2022). The making of DOKH applies a participatory and formative approach focused on autonomy as a methodology (Denzon et al. 2008; Stenzel, 2014; Franchetto, 2017; Smith, 2021). The work will seek to reflect on the impacts of this process on the revitalization, documentation, and description of this language.
