SCHOOL DROPOUT IN BASIC EDUCATION AND NECROPOLITICS

Resumo: | Bearing in mind that school dropout is one of the processes of exclusion of black people in today's society, the article discusses the relationship between school dropout in basic education and the phenomenon of necropolitics, with the hypothesis that dropout is part of a larger political project of extermination of black lives, being a structuring element of the current economic system. The bibliographic essay method is used with a qualitative emphasis, supported by the studies of Mbembe (2018; 2017), Carneiro (2005) and complementary authors. It is noticed that the necropolitical mechanism separates lives between those that have value and those that have no value, as well as those that can be discarded, and this factor is crucial to segregate and remove students from school, more broadly those from public schools. It is concluded that black children and young people are removed from school due to the need for subsistence in the absence of public policies capable of guaranteeing the presence of these subjects in school, whereas they are considered as enemies of the social order, thus putting them in the crosshairs of death. |

Se utiliza el método del ensayo bibliográfico con énfasis cualitativo, sustentado en los estudios de Mbembe (2018; 2017), Carneiro (2005) y autores complementarios. Se advierte que el mecanismo necropolítico separa vidas entre las que tienen valor y las que no tienen valor, así como las que pueden descartarse, y este factor es crucial para segregar y sacar de la escuela a los estudiantes, más ampliamente a los de las escuelas públicas. Se concluye que los niños y jóvenes negros son retirados de la escuela por la necesidad de subsistencia ante la ausencia de políticas públicas capaces de garantizar la presencia de estos sujetos en la escuela, al tiempo que son considerados enemigos del orden social, poniendo ellos en la mira de la muerte.Tendo em vista que a evasão escolar é um dos processos de exclusão do povo negro na sociedade atual, o artigo discute a relação entre a evasão escolar na educação básica e o fenômeno da necropolítica, tendo como hipótese que a evasão integra um projeto político maior de extermínio de vidas negras, sendo elemento estruturante do sistema econômico vigente. Utiliza-se o método ensaístico bibliográfico com ênfase qualitativa, amparado nos estudos de Mbembe (2018; 2017), Carneiro (2005) e autores complementares.
