Resumo: Objective. To determine the degree of relationship between the variables distance work and job satisfaction of professors at a public university in Puno, Peru. Methodology. The research was developed with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design and correlational cross-sectional type. The population consisted of 216 professors; a sample of 138 professors was obtained through probabilistic sampling; the instruments used were a literature review and a questionnaire applied to the professors. In addition, the validity of the questionnaire was tested by means of expert judgment and Cronbach's alpha coefficient, the result of which was 0.947. Results. It was proved that there is a significant relationship between distance work and job satisfaction (rho=0.658; p<0.05) of the professors of a public university in Puno Peru. Conclusions. Distance work significantly influences the level of job satisfaction of professors at a public university in Puno, Peru.

La población estuvo constituida por 216 catedráticos, el empleado demostrado probabilístico se obtuvo una muestra de 138 catedráticos, los instrumentos que se emplearon fueron la revisión de literatura y un cuestionario aplicado a los catedráticos. Además, se comprobó la validez del cuestionario mediante juicio de expertos y el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach, cuyo resultado fue 0,947. Resultados .Se comprobó que existe una relación significativa entre el trabajo remoto y la satisfacción laboral (rho=0.658; p<0.05) de los catedráticos de una universidad pública en Puno Perú. Conclusión . El trabajo remoto tiene una influencia significativa en el nivel de satisfacción laboral de los catedráticos de una universidad pública en Puno Perú.Objectivo. Determinar o grau de relação entre as variáveis trabalho remoto e satisfação no trabalho dos professores de uma universidade pública em Puno, Peru. Metodologia. A pesquisa foi realizada com uma abordagem quantitativa, desenho não-experimental e tipo transversal correlacional. A população foi constituída por 216 professores, tendo sido obtida uma amostra de 138 professores por amostragem probabilística. Os instrumentos utilizados foram uma revisão da literatura e um questionário aplicado aos professores. Para além disso, a validade do questionário foi testada através da opinião de peritos e do coeficiente alfa de Cronbach, cujo resultado foi de 0,947. Resultados. Verificou-se que existe uma relação significativa entre o trabalho remoto e a satisfação no trabalho (rho=0,658; p<0,05) dos professores de uma universidade pública em Puno, Peru. Conclusões.
