Bodies beyond transcendences: can we situate ourselves in a partial way?

Resumo: In "The Order of Things", Foucault (2000) mentions that the tripartite knowledge of the Renaissance leads to the binary knowledge of modernity, from the 17th century onwards. Such binarism is constituted by the perception of a subject and what is perceived by him. The third part, the world, has no place in this type of knowledge, except as an object to be justified by perception. Being an object among others in perceptual analysis, the world bows to the subject, so that the subject's body is nothing more than a support for rationality. As Foucault (2000) states in his book, the constitution of this knowledge impacted all subsequent centuries, and continues to do so. If it is reason that must constitute the world as if it were outside it, then it stands as a transcendence, that is, the sui generis property of a subject that seems to be beyond this world. How can we dilute such transcendence? How does the notion of a situated body constrain such a disposition?

Tal binarismo está constituido por la percepción de un sujeto y lo que él percibe. La tercera parte, el mundo, no tiene lugar en este tipo de conocimiento, excepto como objeto que debe ser justificado por la percepción. Al ser un objeto entre otros en el análisis perceptual, el mundo se inclina ante el sujeto, de modo que el cuerpo del sujeto no es más que un soporte para la racionalidad. Como afirma Foucault (2000) en su libro, la constitución de este conocimiento impactó todos los siglos posteriores, y continúa haciéndolo. Si es la razón la que debe constituir el mundo como si estuviera fuera de él, entonces se presenta como una trascendencia, es decir, la propiedad sui generis de un sujeto que parece estar más allá de este mundo. ¿Cómo podemos diluir tal trascendencia? ¿Cómo limita la noción de un cuerpo situado tal disposición?Em "As palavras e as coisas", Foucault (2000) menciona que o saber tripartido da renascença desemboca no saber binário da modernidade, a partir do século XVII. Tal binarismo é constituído pela percepção de um sujeito e aquilo que é percebido por este. A terceira parte, o mundo, não possui lugar nesse tipo de saber, senão como objeto a ser justificado pela percepção. Sendo um objeto dentre outros na análise perceptiva, o mundo se curva ao sujeito, de modo que o corpo deste nada mais é que um sustentáculo para a racionalidade. Como Foucault (2000) declara em seu livro, a constituição desse saber impacta todos os séculos seguintes, e continua a impactar. Se é a razão que deve constituir o mundo como se estivesse fora dele, então ela se coloca como uma transcendência, isto é, a propriedade sui generis de um sujeito que parece estar além deste mundo. Como podemos diluir tal transcendência?
