LIFE STORY OF SCHOOL PEDAGOGISTS IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF PROFESSIONAL

Resumo: | This article presents results of a research carried out through a continuing education program, with pedagogues working in basic education, in schools in the city of Curitiba and its metropolitan region. Through the construction of a memorial, we sought to recognize in their life history experiences that contributed to the construction of the professional identity of the school pedagogue. The study, with a hermeneutic phenomenological focus, analyzed the life stories of 17 pedagogues, observing experiences and learning that along their trajectory, in different spaces of socialization, from basic education, through academic training and, mainly, professional performance contributed to the professionality of the school pedagogue. The reports indicate that family references, childhood experiences, such as school-related games, and the reference of good teachers in basic education were important for the choice of profession. In turn, experiences with colleagues in different professional contexts contributed to the development of behaviors, skills, attitudes and values that define ways of being in the profession. It is evident that learning in the family and professional context influenced the choice for the profession of pedagogue and the way they currently understand and perform the function, that is, elements that constitute the professional identity. |

A partir de la construcción de un memorial, buscamos reconocer, en la historia de vida, sus vivencias que contribuyeron para la construcción de la identidad profesional del pedagogo escolar. El estudio, con un enfoque fenomenológico hermenéutico, analizó las historias de vida de 17 pedagogos, observando experiencias y aprendizajes que, a lo largo de su trayectoria, en diferentes espacios de socialización, desde la educación básica, pasando por la formación académica y, principalmente, el desempeño profesional, contribuyeron a la profesionalidad del pedagogo escolar. Los relatos indican que las referencias familiares, las experiencias de la infancia, como los juegos relacionados con la escuela y la convivencia con buenos maestros en la educación básica fueron importantes para la elección de la profesión. A su vez, las experiencias con colegas en diferentes contextos profesionales influyeron en el desarrollo de comportamientos, habilidades, actitudes y valores que definen formas de ser y estar en la profesión. Se evidencia que el aprendizaje en el contexto familiar y profesional influyó en la elección por la profesión de pedagogo y en la forma en que actualmente entienden y ejercen la función, es decir, elementos que constituyen la identidad profesional.Este artigo apresenta resultados de uma pesquisa realizada por meio de um programa de formação continuada, com pedagogos atuantes na educação básica, em escolas do município de Curitiba e região metropolitana. A partir da construção de um memorial, buscou-se reconhecer, na história de vida, suas experiências que contribuíram para a construção da identidade profissional do pedagogo escolar. O estudo, de enfoque fenomenológico hermenêutico, analisou as histórias de vida de 17 pedagogos, observando-se experiências e aprendizagens que, ao longo da trajetória, nos diferentes espaços de socialização, desde a educação básica, passando pela formação acadêmica e, principalmente, atuação profissional, contribuíram para a profissionalidade do pedagogo escolar. Os relatos indicam que referências familiares, experiências da infância, como brincadeiras relacionadas à escola, e o convívio com bons professores na educação básica foram importantes para a escolha da profissão. Por sua vez, experiências com os colegas em diferentes contextos de atuação profissional exerceram influência no desenvolvimento de comportamentos, habilidades, atitudes e valores que definem maneiras de ser e estar na profissão.
