Resumo: The study aimed to evaluate the kinetics of the subgingival microbiota established over six months around dental implants recently installed in individuals with periodontal health, in parallel with their corresponding teeth. Seventeen healthy individuals assigned to receive single dental implants were investigated. Subgingival biofilm was sampled from all sites of the implants and the contralateral/ antagonist teeth on 7, 30, 90, and 180 days after the implant installation. Microbiological analysis was performed using the Checkerboard DNA-DNA hybridization technique for the detection of classical oral taxa and non-oral microorganisms. The two files of the dataset were used to build the graphs for the levels and frequency of the studied species.
