Implantação de protocolo de cuidados para o pai do prematuro: representações da equipe de enfermagem

Resumo: A pesquisa teve como objetivo apreender as representações da equipe de enfermagem após a implantação do protocolo de cuidados a serem executados pelo pai do recém-nascido prematuro e de baixo peso hospitalizado. Pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa com oito profissionais de enfermagem entrevistados de julho a agosto de 2016. Utilizou-se o referencial das Representações Sociais, seguindo-se o método do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. Após análise emergiram cinco ideias centrais: Participação efetiva do pai, Fortalecimento do vínculo pai-filho, O apoio do pai fortalece a segurança materna, A equipe de enfermagem favorecendo a participação do pai e Importância da mãe versos a importância do pai. Os profissionais referiram que a implantação do protocolo propiciou participação efetiva do pai e fortalecimento do vínculo pai-filho.Palavras-chave: Pai; Cuidado; Enfermagem neonatal; Prematuro. Implementation of protocol of care for the premature father: representations of the nursing teamAbstract: The objective of the research was to understand the representations of the nursing team after the implantation of the protocol of care to be performed by the father of the premature and low weight hospitalized neonate. Qualitative approach research with eight nursing professionals interviewed from July to August 2016. The Social Representations referential was used, following the Collective Subject Discourse method. After analysis, five main ideas emerged: Effective participation of the father, Strengthening of the father-child bond, The support of the father strengthens the maternal security, The nursing team favoring the participation of the father and Importance of the mother verses the importance of the father. The professionals reported that the implementation of the protocol allowed the effective participation of the father and strengthening of the father-child bond.Keywords: Father; Care; Neonatal nursing; Premature.
