Elaboration of an educational hornbook: pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium guidelines

Resumo: The objective is to describe the stages elaboration of an educational hornbook with prospective guidelines for the induction of good practices in pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium. This is a descriptive study, of the educational technology development type, systematized in five stages: identification of textual elements; preparation of booklet; validation by experts; launch of the booklet and availability of the booklet in health units. The study was carried out in southern Brazil, between March and December 2022, with health and education professionals participations. The educational booklet was developed based on an interactive and constructivist methodology and presents objective and prospective guidelines related to good prenatal, delivery and postpartum practices. The educational booklet, with a creative appearance and interface with several characters, makes it possible to advise health educators and direct the guidelines to pregnant and puerperal women, in a clear, direct and safe way.

Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, do tipo desenvolvimento de tecnologia educacional, sistematizado em cinco etapas: identificação de elementos textuais, elaboração de cartilha, validação por especialistas, lançamento da cartilha e disponibilização da cartilha em unidades de saúde. O estudo foi realizado no sul do Brasil, entre os meses de março a dezembro de 2022, com a participação de profissionais da saúde e da educação. A cartilha educativa foi desenvolvida com base em metodologia interativa e construtivista, além de apresentar orientações objetivas e prospectivas relacionadas às boas práticas no pré-natal, parto e pós-parto.
