Resumo: It discusses the difficulties of researchers with the processing of projects in Plataforma Brasil and with the evaluation by the Research Ethics Committees. The starting point is the following provocative question: why research in the Humanities area needs to be approved by a Committee of the CEP/Conep System (National Commission on Research Ethics), linked to the National Health Council, with so many specific requirements in this area, but out of step with the nature of projects in the Humanities area? Historical milestones that gave rise to the creation of research ethics committees, theoretical characteristics of qualitative research, neuralgic issues that permeate an Ethics Committee in Plataforma Brasil are presented. The creation of Ethics Committees in Human and Social Sciences Research is aimed at the horizon, presenting the example of the Federal University of Paraná authorized by Conep.presented. Parte-se da seguinte indagação provocativa: por que pesquisas da área de Humanidades precisam ser aprovadas por um Comitê do Sistema CEP/Conep (Comissão Nacional de Ética em Pesquisa), vinculado ao Conselho Nacional de Saúde, com tantas exigências específicas desta área, mas descompassadas com a natureza dos projetos da área de Humanidades? Apresentam-se marcos históricos que originaram a criação de comitês de ética em pesquisa, características teóricas da pesquisa qualitativa, questões nevrálgicas que permeiam um Comitê de Ética na Plataforma Brasil.  Aponta-se como horizonte a criação de Comitês de Ética em Pesquisa em Ciências Humanas e Sociais, apresentando o exemplo da Universidade Federal do Paraná autorizado pelo Conep.
