Resumo: The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of baits formulated with boric acid to control Sarasinula linguaeformis (Semper, 1885) (Mollusca, Veronicellidae). The trial, in randomized complete design with nine treatments and five replications, was carried out in laboratory of Centro de Pesquisa para Pequenas Propriedades, EPAGRI (Empresa de Pesquisa Agropecuária e Extensão Rural de Santa Catarina), Chapecó, westem Santa Catarina, Brazil. Each plot consisted of three slugs inside boxes (gearbox). The treatments, baits formulated with a mix of boric acid (different percents), wheat and com flour and eggs, were efficient in the attractiveness and control of the slugs, mainly at the rates of 2,0; 3,0; 5,0 and 10,0 %, with mortality between 99,46 and 100 %, up to 72 hours after the baits supply.

O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a eficiência de iscas com base em ácido bórico, no controle de Sarasinula linguaeformis (Semper, 1885) (Mollusca, Veronicellidae). O experimento foi conduzido em condições de laboratório, no Centro de Pesquisa para Pequenas Propriedades, da Empresa de Pesquisa Agropecuária e Extensão Rural de Santa Catarina S. A., em Chapecó, Santa Catarina. Foi utilizado delineamento completamente casualizado, com nove tratamentos e cinco repetições. Cada parcela constou de três lesmas contidas em caixas tipo "gerbox". Os tratamentos foram constituídos de iscas com diferentes percentagens de ácido bórico, elaboradas com a mistura de farinha de trigo, farinha de milho e ovos. As iscas, além de atrativas, controlaram as lesmas, principalmente nas concentrações de 2,0; 3,0; 5,0 e 10,0 %de ácido bórico, provocando a mortalidade entre 99,46 a 100 % dos indivíduos, até 72 horas após o fornecimento das iscas.
