FERTILIZATION AND SOD SEEDING OF WHITE CLOVER ON A NATURAL PASTURE

Resumo: | The experimental work was carried out at the Estação Experimental da Faculdade de Agronomia, UFRGS, in Eldorado do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The objective was to evaluate the effect of fertilizer treatments (with and without N, P and K) and lime leveis (0; 1,5 and 3,0 ton/ha) on a Plintossolo, on the yield and botanical composition of a nature pasture sodseeded with white clover (Trifolhan repens L.). The climate is Cfa, according to Kaeppen's classification. The experimental design was a split-plot arranged in randomized block with three replications. The fertilization on the first year was 22,5 kg N/ha, 180 kg P205/ha and 120 kg K 20/ha. On the second and third year the amounts were of 90 kg P 205/ha and 48kg K20/ha. On the fourth year were of 24 kg N/ha, 84 kg P205/ha e 63 kg K20/ha. Fertilization with N, P and K increased the forage dry matter yield and changed the botanical composition of the natural pasture. Such variables were also affected by the year . |

Na Estação Experimental da Faculdade de Agronomia, da UFRGS, localizada no município de Eldorado do Sul, RS, avaliou-se o efeito de tratamentos de adubação (com e sem N, P e K) e doses de calcário (zero, 1,5 e 3,0 t/ha) em um Plintossolo de textura arenosa, sobre o rendimento e composição botânica de uma pastagem natural sobressemeada com trevo branco ( Trifolisun repens L.). O clima da região é Cfa, de acordo com a classificação de Kõeppen. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de parcelas subdivididas arranjadas em blocos casualizados, com três repetições. A adubação no primeiro ano constou de 22,5 kg/ha de N, 180 kg/ha de P205 e 120 kg/ha de K20. No segundo e terceiro ano foram aplicados 90 kg/ha de P 205 e 48kg/ha de K20. No quarto ano foram utilizados 24 kg/ha de N. 84 kg/ha de P 205 e 63 kg/ha de K20. A adubação com N, P e K promoveu aumento no rendimento de matéria seca e modificação na composição botânica da pastagem natural.
