O ANALYSIS OF SOCIAL SUPPORT IN THE PERCEPTION OF INDIVIDUALS AFFECTED BY SARS-CoV-2: A descriptive analysis of the perception of affected individuals

Resumo: Objective: To analyze the Social Support perceived by users with confirmation of SARS-CoV-2 in the Municipality of Redenção-CE. Methods: This is an exploratory and descriptive qualitative study carried in February and March 2021, through semi-structured interviews. The study population consisted of 10 users with confirmation of SARS-CoV-2 residents of the municipality. Results: Social isolation meant that the social support network did not fulfill its role in offering social support, which hindered and made it difficult to cope with the conditions arising from the disease and health care in the various interpersonal relationships arising from the individual's life cycle. Conclusion: By analyzing the social support of individuals during the pandemic, it was possible to see the need for all types of social support for coping with the disease by users with SARS-CoV-2 what should be observed when formulating strategies to face SARS-CoV-2.

Método: Se trata de un estudio cualitativo exploratorio y descriptivo realizado en febrero y marzo de 2021, a través de una entrevista semiestructurada. La población de estudio estuvo conformada por 10 usuarios con confirmación de SARS-CoV-2 residentes en el municipio. Resultados: El aislamiento social contribuyó a que la red de apoyo social no cumpliera con su rol de brindar apoyo social, lo que perjudicó y dificultó el enfrentamiento de las condiciones derivadas de la enfermedad y el cuidado de la salud en las diversas relaciones interpersonales derivadas del ciclo de convivencia de la individual. Conclusión: Al analizar el apoyo social de los individuos durante la pandemia, fue posible percibir la necesidad de todo tipo de apoyo social para el enfrentamiento de la enfermedad por parte de los usuarios con SARS-CoV-2, lo que debe ser observado para formular estrategias de enfrentamiento a la enfermedad SARS-CoV-2.Objetivo: Analisar o Apoio Social percebido pelos usuários com confirmação de SARS-CoV-2 no Município de Redenção–CE. Método: Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo de caráter exploratório e descritivo realizado em fevereiro e março de 2021, por meio de entrevista semiestruturada. A população do estudo foi composta por 10 usuários com confirmação de SARS-CoV-2 residentes do município. Resultados: O isolamento social contribuiu para que a rede de apoio social não cumprisse o seu papel em ofertar o apoio social, o que prejudicou e dificultou o enfrentamento das condições oriundas da doença e dos cuidados em saúde nas diversas relações interpessoais oriundas do ciclo de convivência do indivíduo.
