WOMEN'S USE OF THE BIRTH PLAN DURING PRENATAL: SCOPING REVIEW

Resumo: Objective: to analyze the repercussions of the use of the birth plan in the parturition process bywomen during prenatal care, through the literature. Method: this is a scope review built on the PCCstrategy, with "P" being the population (pregnant women), "C" being the concept (birth plan) and"C" being the context (prenatal care). The search was performed in PubMed, Scopus and EMBASE(Elsevier) databases. Studies were included in full in English, Spanish or Portuguese, whichinvolved the theme of the birth plan and had been published until March 2022. Data were collectedfrom January to March 2022. The selected texts were read in full and data extracted productioncharacterization, main results and the use of the birth plan was highlighted. Results: the finalsample consisted of 16 eligible articles, which were organized according to the flowchart accordingto the PRISMA international guide. Most of the articles were published in 2020 and 2021 (n=4) andoriginated in Spain (n=4), followed by Brazil and Africa (n=2). The main theme found was aboutthe use and construction of the birth plan, its benefits and improvement of the pregnant women'sexperience. Conclusion: the birth plan is a flexible and adaptable instrument, the involvement andparticipation of family members with professionals are essential in the production and realization of this planning, although it has many benefits, there are still gaps to be filled related to the construction and use of the birth plan. childbirth.

Los datos fueron recolectados de enero a marzo de 2022. Los textos seleccionados fueronleídos íntegramente y los datos extraídos caracterización de producción, Se destacaron losprincipales resultados y el uso del plan de parto. Resultados: la muestra final estuvo constituida por16 artículos elegibles, los cuales fueron organizados según el diagrama de flujo según la guíainternacional PRISMA. La mayoría de los artículos se publicaron en 2020 y 2021 (n=4) y seoriginaron en España (n=4), seguido de Brasil y África (n=2). El tema principal encontrado fuesobre el uso y construcción del plan de parto, sus beneficios y mejora de la experiencia de lasgestantes.
