Resumo: Objective: To integrate or conhecimento produced on the use of mobile applications not cared for in health. Method: Integrative review of the literature used by the Boolean operator and with the following combinations: patients and applications, moveis and patient assistance; patients and mobile applications and patient care, nas databases Scielo, Lilacs, Medline, Cinahal. Results: The 11 articles will show that the most important applications are related to the dimensions of life with chronic conditions (45%), carry out rehabilitation activities (27%), access instructions and information (18%), improve or serve in the health service (9%). Conclusion: The use of technologies of the mobile application type is not cared for in health and is important for the population. Using these technologies is an aid to live with the quality of life and support to monitor, inform, re-enable and access the health services.

Método: Revisão integrativa da literatura que utilizou o operador boleano and com as seguintes combinações: pacientes and aplicativos moveis and assistência ao paciente; patients and mobile applications and patient care, nas bases de dados Scielo, Lilacs, Medline, Cinahal. Resultados: Os 11 artigos demonstraram que os aplicativos móveis estão relacionados com as dimensões viver bem com afecções crônicas (45%), realizar atividade de reabilitação (27%), acessar instruções e informações (18%), melhorar o atendimento em serviço de saúde (9%).  Conclusão: A utilização de tecnologias do tipo aplicativos móveis no cuidado em saúde é importante para a população.
